I showcase indie games that I find really interesting today we're going to play the full version game called the unliving the Young Living is a an action RPG roguelite game where you play as a necrancer I think that suffers from Amnesia or something like that and you and your army of the Dead are set set out to uh well to to do what any Undead Army does I don't know um I'm gonna jump right into the game the a new game takes some time to uh to load or not anyway I'm gonna add the steam strolling in the description down below should you want to check out the game and I'm gonna play for around 30 minutes or so so let's go the glyphs are still burning in front of my eyes what was I Casting where am I why does it hurt so much oh what's the first step into brighter future hard try making another one is the end Dash with spacebar left Mouse button to attack the living attacking consumes energy which slowly regenerates all right there we go press R to raise the dead enemies raising is Possible only after the whole group is dead yeah now we're talking remember what people are father yes for the pliable mind to control that I remember okay good thing that you remember okay the the environments can be uh destroyed use right Mouse button to attack a position okay hold right Mouse button to move and Retreat all right oh that's a nice touch I have an undead dog okay there's a cooldown in our necromancy spell tool sacrificing press red mouse button on an undated activated sacrificial effect you will spend some life force and then the unit will be destroyed okay let's sacrifice here again one more one more it's replenish our numbers good and let's move forward oh there's a wizard okay that's the wizard gun and now his powers um all right items uh health bar the health bar consists of Life Sparks with health and life force on the left spark loses its own itself it is destroyed leaving an empty phylactery and releasing its special spell reflector allows you to have one more life spark okay okay I gotcha I got uh feels an empty space in the health bar all right uh life spark of the of a necromancer when it lasts Park when a life spark is lost raises the slain in growing the good projection restriction all right very nice and this is blood Essence matter used to create spells and sacrificial runes okay blood type spelled shapes blood into chimeras that crawl towards the enemy and explode okay is that a Healer now the spellcaster I wonder it is good to be smart and in complete control isn't it shame your neither do you remember how you got here what led to it who you even are I I Am The Necromancer no one stands in my way if you try you shall become a part of my momentum at least your pride is intact let's see how far you can get on that alone yeah that's a brick of a spirit magical resources some spells require resources which could be found in the battlefield blood is spilled on the living damage bones are generated when the undead take damage um and Echo is spawned upon each unit's restriction uh destruction sorry um okay let's activate the blood side and let's resurrect the problem is I think I think my Undead are decaying I should really be mindful of that okay so there's blood there's a echo what do Echoes do oh that can explode oh that's very nice of me good job good job Ultimus resurrect let's raise some more dead okay rotting rotting the uses an Undead's HP do not hesitate to sacrifice and didn't battle they Decay anyway good can go in there okay there we go let's sacrifice and I'm dead life spark lost okay I really need to get my together if I said one ah damn it that was a nice indicator there very handy one and then dead is about to die there's an indicator there showing that you should probably uh sacrifice the undead because he's gonna die anyway okay let's activate the chimeras oh oh my God that's awesome wow the they uh went through the barricades and they really tore them apart they did a number on them so yeah that's a Healer and he heals and he burns Undead a lot of energy where is my energy oh there's my energy okay okay it's depleting slowly uh let's raise some dead wow okay is there anywhere an indicator yeah okay I have 39 uh followers let's see what's this bone Essence matter used to create spells and uh sacrificial rooms okay um harl's nearby builds to the living shrapnel Bone Garden the shapes build into explosive barricades sever the bonds raises nearby corpses ignoring the whole group must be killed imitation it's nice um Ah that's a nice uh it's a good dilemma what should I get shrapnel or bone Garden I'll get shrapnel is that something that I can use ah when sacrificed hurdles nearby okay when sacrificed all right all right gotcha gotcha uh one more race good and to the chimeras all right I recognize this place is over there my Citadel it was that way but you could not hold a spell who are you the key to humanity Shackled indeed no one thought was possible Sublime magic with the ring come perhaps it's not truly too late uh right there goby chimeras there you go the explosive barrels excellent and now let's let's charge with our horde sacrifice that one all right okay excellent let's raise the Dead and let's proceed um come here is Maybe is there something over here oh there is come on guys ouch uh I got hit there okay let's let's fall back let's fall back because yeah some Chimera is there and let's fall back let them let the camias do the work and now I will unleash my Undead host upon you okay let's take out the priest that Chris is dead okay the sacrifice that one okay just lose another Essence I think I do okay we're done with the fight so some more raising to do come on guys come on guys I'm done just just stand there sacrifice treasure and that's bone yeah it's gone okay some raising more raising 67 uh minions now can I get in there somehow guess not I mean it's just for show okay let's uh let's summon some chimeras and let's move ahead all right oh there's a cannon there's the cannon okay and what's this end of the tutorial congratulations you finished the tutorial of this demo version now you will die but don't worry you are the Necromancer death should inconvenience you too much okay and we're dead defeat death lost its meaning okay what now edge of immortality hilarious spell forged repurposed right so this must be the meta gaming part of the uh game let's chat the hand of The Necromancer sir you survived have you seen the others did you know how to revert this so fast I have barely even got here which others what's precisely is this the ritual of Ascension to our apart the Citadel the coven is gone are you all right I I'll be fine I need to ponder over this that that thing over there is the exit I assume I could not even approach it sir as a book welcome to the demo version of the game you're inside the Necromancer Citadel in in the full game you will be able to unlock new spells sacrificial runes for the undead and upgradable powers for The Necromancer for the demo version you have access to some of the Spells and scofficial runes and the following powers unlocked Manning through weapons energy for attacks restores each time you sacrifice and Undead undepletable resource uh Source sorry if you like if you lack Life Force to perform sacrifice or spell the undead with at least HP will be automatically drained to cover for this shortage that's nice dual benefit upon receiving healing life force is also replenished devastating sacrifice damage for some sacrificing and Undead interrupts the preparation of enemy abilities and stuns them okay these are the items I suppose that you can unlock skeleton practices are dead with a sturdy Shield of bone hematic Surplus blood is filled when the spills additional blood okay plague extracts the living with Arcane miasma desist spread disease and I suppose there's one for each resource something blood bone and yeah corpse trebuchet uh trebuchet hurls a corpse into the living to inflict damage and fear wow nice yeah okay judging by the looks of it there's uh dozens of unlockables that must be the exit let me take a look down here and I'll see if I can do another run or something let's see uh I like the game I'm really curious what curious what they will um um what they will what features they will include in the full version of the game and uh if I recall correctly it's going to be released on the 31st of October which is a Halloween I think so yeah this is uh this is a spooky month video but for some reason loading takes a lot of time I I really hope this will be fixed by the by the time that the full game is released I think they mentioned something about loading times which is uh well I don't know I don't know what what the problem is with that what the issue is anyway I like the uh the art the whole style of the game the sound effects and all it's quite thematic and I can't I can't really say no to a good uh Necromancer in a video game I mean uh I love uh such such builds such characters Summoners necromancers etc etc I really hope this game will load or it's gonna be a 15 minute video hmm yeah I guess that's gonna be uh it's gonna be it for today um I'm gonna call it a day.
