today's game is kind of a little bit closer to release it's called the unliving be a necromancer and it comes out on October the 31st so about a week to go this game comes to you from 10 to 17 digital they are a publisher that has done a lot of indie games so looking down some of these games here I'm sure you've probably noticed Marauders this month which has been received well but also games that I've covered on my channel we've done videos on hokko life which is a kind of peaceful Farming Simulator or more like a town Simulator game and moving down games like the serpent Rogue and honey I joined Nicole which is a really cool Simulator game as well and some of my favorites magbot was kind of fun but Narita boy is one of my favorite games of all time so if you like action Platformers with some pretty interesting kind of sci-fi storylines check out Narita boy for sure let's go back and have a look at this game though so so the unliving be a necromance a pixel art looking game raise the dead as a fearsome Necromancer in the Dark World of the Young Living lead your Undead armies into the endless fight in this roguelike Ting there's a gay act there's a word roguelo action RPG game Burns cities to Ash with devastating magic spells slay epic bosses and turn your enemies into morbid servances servants is the word I'm looking for slay epic bosses interesting kind of hope they are epic and turn your enemies into morbid servants that's kind of the whole Necromancer point I guess let's have a look at the trailer in the pursuit of immortality I evoked a ritual of Ascension however the church of solar lay in weight they're mentally trucked me in an internal torment years later and more powerful than ever I have returned took my land subjugating the deficits through religious obedience but therefore will now fall and rise again I'm trying to work out if this is one of those games where we take on the role as the villain although the way that the narrator here is saying that they take our lands maybe there's a bit of you know the Misunderstood villain kind of narrative going on here I do like the graphics here they're cool them screaming their Warriors there is a lot of characters on screen this could be pretty hectic delay wait to their treachery death will not stop me that ending's a pretty pretty classic roguelike kind of uh line isn't it death is not the end I'm sure you've heard that before in in trailers as well iliac says game doesn't have a price release although you can check out a demo maybe it says demo coming soon okay Dynamic roguelite action RPG with strategic elements razor dead extravagant pixel art all of this is stuff that we've seen before I'm really interesting there's kind of like this pumpkin pumpkin enemy here I'm hoping there it is what's the deal with this this buff pumpkin enemy Crush everyone in your way only some of the living uh helpless victims the rest can retaliate against your forces they hold the line more in large groups than wield powerful abilities too I'm really curious about what the boss is going to look like unravel the mysteries of necromancy here we go the powerful creatures of this shadowy world will do anything they can stop you each boss has a unique fighting style instead of abilities meaning deafness in combat and strategic thinking die and Rise Again do you know what if nothing else like I I have played an endless amount of roguelike game it's probably the the genre that I've played the most of in in anything that's probably why I tried to say Ting before when the the word roguelike come up and I stumbled over my words but I'm not sure what kind of uh game I can compare this to it gives me kind of the amount of people on screen gives me dap dap Vibes but that's got nothing in terms of the style of art or the gameplay you know the pixel art reminds me a little bit of nobody Saves the World Without games are a Cooperative RPGs got nothing about the roguelite in here so if nothing else the unliving could well be one of the more unique releases this month I'm curious about how I get to control all those little uh these little demon or what do you call them when they're skeletons when they're being raised from the dead is it just simply you raise them and they run in or do we have some kind of like RTS style strategic choices to make there is a lot of enemies and friends I guess allies on the screen right here so you know it's there's probably at least a hundred different characters on there a bunch of pumpkin buff pumpkin skellies as well I assume these little uh whatever you call them blacksmith looking dudes turn into the buff pumpkins you know okay and there's some Mages here that we must get some kind of access to as well hey I think this game could be pretty fun I'm really curious.
